GM2000’s History
GM2000 Pte Ltd was established in 1999 by Mr Teo Hee Lai, who hails from Singapore’s first generation of builders. It initially started out as a trading company and supplier for soft window furnishings, slowly building up their product range and production capabilities over the years.
In 2002, GM2000 became the first company in Singapore to manufacture Smoke Curtains, earning it the ISO9001 accreditation. It also launched their in-house window furnishing brand i-shades.
Their other achievements include the introduction of Intelligent Automation Systems, Louvre Blinds, and Zip Blinds to their product portfolio, the founding of GM2000 Impex Pte Ltd (for stone materials and stone surface treatment products) and in-house lifestyle brandish, and becoming the sole distributor for WAREMA products.
GM2000 Pte Ltd does not work alone for their endeavours; for every project they take on, they partner up with dedicated specialists who ensure that their products do not fall below standard.
GM2000 Pte Ltd is currently under the care of Mr Teo’s son, Mr Ian Teo, who had grown up under his father’s wing and dedicated himself to GM2000’s mission since his youth.
